Makaton Training for Parents and Carers March 2019
Come and be part of a group and learn how to support your child’s communication
(Makaton Beginners ) Stages 1-4
Makaton is a language programme that uses signs, symbols and speech.
Makaton has been shown to help children and adults who may have communication difficulties.
Makaton is used by Mr Tumble in CBeebies Something Special.
The Makaton training will be run by Speech and Language Therapists who are Makaton Regional Tutors.
Cost: £30 per person waged or £10 unwaged
If you receive a low wage or are in receipt of benefits please bring proof on the first day of the course and the price will be discounted.
