Welcome to Lion Class

Class Teacher: Eleanor Forbes

This is my first year working at College Park, although I am an experienced early years teacher. I trained in Primary Education with a specialism in Early Years Leadership and I am currently undertaking a master's degree in ‘Special and Inclusive Education’ at UCL.  

In Lion class we follow the informal curriculum this means we use an explorative teaching approach that provides our class with a rich and meaningful curriculum in key developmental areas. We utilise a play-based approach which ensures that learning follows the interests of our learners and that each child is at the center of their curriculum. 

Our class is supported by a fab team of teaching assistants who work closely with the children to help them achieve their goals! Our team of teaching assistants includes Nelly, Isha, Magda and Ade. Together we work on supporting the children with their engagement, communication and emotional regulation. Our aim is for every child to flourish and become the best they can be; leaving Lion class with increased independence and  confidence!
