Welcome to Dolphin Class 

Class Teacher & Middle Leader: Fatima

Hi, welcome to Dolphin Class! My name is Fatima and I have been working at College Park School for many years. I am from Kurdistan.

I was also a Humanities' teacher there for two years before I came to live and work in London. As a teacher, I find that working with our students is a very rewarding job! I learn along with the children, and seeing them making progress everyday makes me very happy.

Our activities are sensory based to meet the needs of the children and keep them engaged.

We have attention autism sessions to improve attention span skills, we listen to our student’s voice so we know what to do to keep a positive environment and teach them how to ask for help. We use visual boards to help do this. We tailor activities to each child’s interest using motivator; this keeps things interesting for them. We are patient and give them space when we need it, we use Makaton too.

In Dolphin Class we work as a team to support the children and I hope this year is a good year for everyone.
